"It is an honor to be here at my last-and perhaps the last-White House Correspondents Dinner."
In what was perhaps an undercover jab at GOP frontrunner, Donald Trump, who has not been timid about his disdain for reporters, Obama drew a knowing applause from media attending the event.

Obama joked that he seems to be losing some of his clout in his final months as president. During his trip to Europe last week, Obama met with dignitaries throughout the region, including the young Prince George, son of Prince William and Dutchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton.

"I love Joe Biden" "I just want to thank him for being a great friend" "For not shooting anybody in the face."
A burn aimed at none other than former Vice President Dick Cheney, who accidentally shot attorney Harry Whittington in the face during a hunting trip in 2006.

"We've decided to stay in DC. Youngest daughter can finish up HS. Michelle can stay closer to her plot of carrots."
True to the president's style, this joke is loaded with pop culture references, and throws friendly shade at first lady Michelle Obama's penchant for gardening and healthy eating. A penchant that, judging by the photoshopped image of Mrs. Obama pulling a "Mission Impossible" move to keep those plants watered, suggests she won't be giving up on the garden easily.
Never one to sidestep an opportunity for self-deprecation, Obama mused that he'd become a "Couch Commander" after he leaves the White House.

And, as the president wrapped up his speech, he left on one final note: "Obama out."
