Pirates are starting to post a bunch of Netflix's ultra-high-definition videos online

Back in August, it seemed that pirates had finally cracked the 4K copy protection on Netflix when a copy of the the first episode of "Breaking Bad" emerged. But since then, no significant 4K releases had surfaced until a few days ago, when a slew of titles began to pop up, according to TorrentFreak.
TorrentFreak's sources have confirmed that this represents a significant breakthrough.
"Many groups started releasing 4K rips recently and they are working perfectly. I expect that 4K resolution releases will become more popular now," a source within the community told TorrentFreak.
4K streaming titles have been available for quite some time on sites like Netflix and Amazon, but prior to August they had been thought safe from pirates. In fact, many had believed it was currently "impossible" to break High-Bandwidth Digital Copy Protection (HDCP).
One title that has been leaked is Netflix's new Marvel series "Jessica Jones." The media info for one of the Jessica Jones leaks says the bitrate is 32.5 Mbps, and one should bear in mind that it could be difficult to watch this episode on the average computer today.
Netflix told TorrentFreak that they were investigating the leak of the "Breaking Bad" episode back in August, and would try to prevent similar breaches in the future. "Piracy is a global problem," a Netflix spokesperson said. "We, like others content providers, are actively working on ways to protect content featured on our site." They have not yet commented on this new set of leaks.
