Buldhana, Chikhali, Sindkhed Raja, Mehkar, Khamgaon and Jalgaon Vidhan Sabha candidate name and results 2019

There are six Vidhan Sabha seats in the Buldana Lok Sabha constituency including Buldhana, Chikhali, Sindkhed Raja, Mehkar, Khamgaon and Jalgaon (Jamod). Five of them are general seats and Mehkar seat is reserved for SC candidates.

For 2019 assembly elections, INC is fielding Harshwardhan Vasantrao Sapkal from Buldana seat. In the Chikhali seat, Rahul Siddhivinayak Bondre of INC will take against BJP’s Shweta Mahale. In Jalgaon Jamod, INC’s Swati Sandeep Wakekar and BJP’s Sanjay Kute will contest. INC is fielding Aakash Phundkar from Khamgaon. In Mehkar seat, Shiv Sena is fielding Dr. Sanjay Raimulkar against INC’s Anant Sakharam Wankhede.

Maharashtra state will see the assembly election polls for all the Vidhan Sabha constituencies on a single day on October 21, 2019. The votes will go for counting on October 24, 2019.


In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Jadhav Prataprao Ganpatrao of the SHS party won from this seat pushing back Ingle Krushanarao Ganpatrao of NCP with a margin of 159,579 votes.

In 2014 assembly elections for the Vidhan Sabha of Maharashtra, INC candidate Harshwardhan Vasantrao Sapkal won over the MNS candidate Sanjay Rambhau Gaikwad with a margin of 11661 votes. From the Chikhli seat, Rahul Siddhavinayak Bondre of the INC won with a margin of 14061 over Khabutare Sureshaappa Wamanaappa who represented BJP. The winner from the Sindkhed Raja

Constituency was Dr. Khedekar Shashikant Narsingrao of the SHS party who had secured 18854 votes more than the BJP candidate Dr. Ganesh Baburao Mante. The Mehkar (SC) voters elected the SHS candidate Sanjay Bhashkar Raimulkar who secured 35935 votes more than the INC candidate Laxmanrao Januji Ghumare. From the Khamgaon seat, the BJP candidate Akash Pandurang Fundkar. He secured 7061 votes more than the INC candidate Sananda Dilipkumar Gokulchand. From the Jalgaon Jamod constituency, Kute Dr. Sanjay Shriram, the BJP candidate won over Balasaheb Alias Prasenjit Kisan Tayde of BBM by 4695 more votes.
