Suddenly, retailers that had doubled down on digital needed to also think about their brick-and-mortar experience. As a result, consumers are now interacting with a retail experience that is considerably different than the one they remember prior to the pandemic.

Whether they're buying online and picking up in-store, attending a brand event in-store, or using retail apps to navigate aisles more easily, shoppers have more choices at their fingertips than ever before.

Methodology
