The Apple Watch may be the most famous smartwatch out there, but there are plenty of great smartwatches for Android users, too - like the much-loved Samsung Galaxy Watch. For a limited time, you can get a Samsung Galaxy Watch for up to $50 off at Best Buy.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch has all of the features you'd expect a great smartwatch to have, including fitness tracking, notifications, and more. The watch has a built-in heart rate monitor and can track your activity, making it a great choice for those who want a device to monitor their workouts.
In addition to the ability to track your activity, you'll also be able to see notifications right on your wrist. You can also install third-party apps like Spotify and MyFitnessPal on the watch. The Galaxy Watch has an NFC chip built in, too, so you can use your watch to buy things via Samsung Pay.
The screen measures 1.2-inches, and you can get the watch in 42mm and 46mm case sizes to suit big and small wrists. Best Buy sells both an all-black Galaxy Watch and a rose gold version with a blush band, so you do have two color options at least.
Smartwatches are increasingly being used as standalone devices without phones, and you can leave home without your phone and still be connected if you have the LTE-enabled version of the Samsung Galaxy Watch. If you do anticipate using your watch with your phone all the time, you can get the non-LTE version of the watch, and you'll save some cash as a result.
Although the watch works best with Samsung phones, it does work well with other Android phones, and you can use most of the core features with an iPhone. However, you won't be able to reply to texts on it, use Samsung Pay, or access other Samsung-specific features if you pair it with an iPhone.
