Performance

Performance
This TV is based on A+ grade Samsung display panel, which is currently the best in India. Powered by 1GHz quad core processor running Android Kitkat 4.4.2 with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage, the colour reproduction and viewing angle are good.

Just like other smart TVs in Indian market, this one uses same software and runs an outdated 4.4.2 Android.
It has 3 HDMI and 3 USB ports as well as Wi-Fi connectivity and Miracast technology enabled in it. It also has various picture/sound modes. So even if you are too lazy to walk up to the TV and insert flash drive, you can just cast through your smartphone. However given the fact that it’s a 50 inch big fat TV, the picture clarity won’t be as good as in your smartphone after casting.

Also there are a standard IR Remote and an air mouse provided. The USB chargeable Air Mouse is a fantastic device with QWERTY keypad, track pad and toggle button. At this price point, an air mouse is definitely a bigger gain in the Indian LED TV market.

Verdict

Given the price point, you just can’t ask for more. Superb HD quality, easy user interface, Air Mouse, easy casting and sleek design are some of the features that make the TV buy worthy.
However the manufacturer may try fixing the sound quality that cracks at bass when played in high volume. And another glitch is the delay in response when using the apps. This is mostly because of outdated Android OS, which is used by most TV brands in India.
