Starbucks Coffee Presses Recalled For Burn Risk

The $40 presses are made by kitchenware manufacturer Bodum.
Consumers reported that the glass carafe can fall out of the metal frame and plastic base of the coffee press and break or shatter.
Bodum said it recieved 14 reports of the carafe breaking and four reports of injuries, including burns and lacerations.
Anyone who purchased the coffee press has been advised to stop using it immediately and return it to the Starbucks store where it was purchased or contact Bodum for a full refund.

Roughly 28,000 unites were sold between November and December, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
