The 100 best brunch spots in America, according to OpenTable

Head to Brunch in Chicago, Illinois, for an extensive menu of brunch goodies.

Mother's Day is right around the corner, and to help prepare you, OpenTable has put together its annual list of the 100 best brunch restaurants in America.

The results are based on more than 5 million restaurant reviews submitted by diners within the last year.

The restaurants had to hit a minimum overall score and have a number of qualifying reviews to be considered. Those that were chosen earned the highest ratings in the "brunch" category.

Of the 100 restaurants that made the cut, 20 are in New York, 16 are in California, and nine are in Maryland. In total, the list features restaurants from 26 different states and Washington, DC.

From restaurants offering classic brunch staples to those serving exotic buffets, here is the full list of the best brunch spots:
