Doctors and lawyers are in the top echelon when it comes to pay.

But as a new report from Glassdoor shows, there are plenty of other routes to high earnings that don't involve litigating or blood.

"This report reinforces that high pay continues to be tied to in-demand skills, higher education, and working in jobs that are protected from competition or automation," says Andrew Chamberlain, Glassdoor's chief economist. "This is why we see several jobs within the technology and healthcare industries."
