The controversies around Smriti Irani’s educational qualifications had almost faded, but then came her claim of possessing a degree from the prestigious Yale University.

Apparently, Mrs. Irani was a part of the troop of 11 Indian MPs who went to the Yale University campus located in New Haven, Connecticut last year. They were there to attend a six-day leadership program with the faculty of this prestigious institution.
