The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to develop The Samajwadi Party government led by Chief Minister
A presentation on the plan of the new city was made to senior officials from the infrastructure and industrial development department and Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation during a meeting last week.
“Around 25% area of the township would be reserved for industries with dedicated power supply, prepaid electricity meters, provision for 100 per cent water harvesting, zero-discharge mechanism, and CNG supply network,” said Sanjiv Saran, principal secretary, industrial development.
Amity University, Fortis Healthcare and Maruti Suzuki have already expressed interest to invest in the state and the government is considering to allot them land in Allahabad.

“The education department has been asked to prepare a proposal to develop the university in 40 acres of land,” an official statement said.
