Why Zopo
Speed 7 will find it difficult to beat Xiaomi Mi 4i! Chinese brand Zopo enters India with its flagship handset Speed 7.

“India is a logical and imperative step in this journey to success. Chinese smartphone brands have been enjoying a 97% YOY share of the market (second quarter CY 2015) and we wish to tap this ripe consumer base with the best of our products,” said Kevin Xu, CEO, ZOPO Mobile.

But will it be able to compete with its competitors from China itself, let alone Indian brands?

Enter the battle with its toughest competitor right now in the Indian market, Xiaomi Mi 4i.

Xiaomi Mi 4i is more compact than Speed 7 which weighs 20g more than the former’s 130g. Xiaomi Mi4i is also more stylish and slimmer with 7.8 mm thickness in comparison to Zopo with 8.65 mm.

Processor and RAM

Zopo Speed 7 comes with 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek 6753

Xiaomi Mi 4i- Snapdragon 615 SoC

Though MediaTek is a better performer but Snapdragon doesn’t disappoint customers either.

Zopo wins the game with its 3 GB RAM. Xiaomi has 2 GB RAM.

Both comes equipped with 16 GB of which 12 GB is consumable. But Xiaomi Mi 4i is a strict no-no for storage hungry consumers as it doesn’t come with a micro SD slot.

Zopo Speed 7 is a laggard with its 2500 mAh battery.

Xiaomi Mi 4i comes with 3120 mAh which can stay alive a little more than one day.

Both come with 13 MP camera.

Zopo has a long way to go to compete with its competitors from China itself.
