YouTube is down for some people

YouTube went down on Friday morning.

The massively popular video site, which is owned by Google, was experiencing issues as of about 9 a.m. EST. Those attempting to use the site are being greeted with this message:

According to Down Detector, which tracks web outages, the issues appear to be concentrated in the US, particularly in the Northeast. YouTube's app also appears to be experiencing issues.
