A Revolutionary New Personal Health Device Sees the Day Of
Light TodayWe just saw a revolutionary new product that would help you take your medical examination within the comforts of your home. Built by Azoi Inc., who are based out of USA and have their research centre in Ahmedabad in India, the device is called Wello. Wello is built in the form of an iPhone case. You can attach it to your mobile, download the Wello app and by just placing your fingers on the special measuring points on the case, monitor your bodily vitals.

The process is pretty much simple and the onscreen help menu will guide you through it in 3-4 easy steps. Wello can monitor, display and record 6 stats. These include blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, blood oxygen, lung function and ECG. Ami Karnik, who is the co-founder of Azoi Inc. seemed confident about the new device and said the tests are very accurate. She also said that the company is working closely with doctors in USA and India to take their inputs for the new device.

Azoi Inc. has also tested their nifty little invention up against the larger hospital machines and claims it works, and gives the same result as the larger ones do. After health bands, Wello seems like a knocker of a device in the health care system. Not only can one get the statistics in a matter of seconds, one can also keep a track of their body and manage it better. Wello stores the last 4 instances of the tests within the case itself. Rest can be kept on the phones memory.

The case and the phone connect via Bluetooth. We gave it a go and would say the product is still in its beta stages. Users will get to see the final device in the second half of 2014. However, Azoi Inc. has started taking pre-orders and one can expect the delivery in August when it goes on sale. Wello is priced at Rs 12,350 and can save 5 profiles in it. This seems like a negligible sum to pay to keep a track of your health and quickly get help if something seems wrong. Wello app is available on Android and iOS, but at the moment the case is available for only iPhone 4S, 5 and 5S.
