8-Bit Link from the original "The Legend of Zelda" joins his counterparts from "Ocarina of Time" and "Wind Waker." Princess Zelda's "Wind Waker" incarnation is also here, as part of a two-pack with Toon Link.

These amiibo will offer the same functionality as standard Link and Zelda amiibo figures in existing "The Legend of Zelda" games with amiibo support. Here are the games in the franchise that support amiibo already:

  • "Hyrule Warriors Legends" for 3DS
  • "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD" for Wii U

Additionally, these amiibo figures will have exclusive, currently-unknown functionality in the upcoming "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" for Wii U and NX, Nintendo's mysterious next console. That game will launch in March 2017.

You can get these amiibo figures when they launch on December 2.
