Samsung is reportedly launching a giant version of its best Galaxy phone yet
The so-called Galaxy S6 Plus would essentially be a giant version of the Galaxy S6 Edge, according to Italian website HDBlog, which claims to have spoken with "reliable" sources.
Samsung will supposedly announce the phone in the coming weeks, and it's being called "Project Zero 2" internally. Samsung codenamed the original Galaxy S6 "Project Zero."
The S6 Plus will reportedly have a 5.4 or 5.5-inch curved screen, making it about the same size as the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus.
Other than its screen size, it sounds like the S6 Plus will essentially be a clone of the S6 Edge - it has the same screen resolution, the same camera, and it will likely have a design that's very similar. Blog Sam Mobile, which has a strong record when it comes to reporting on unreleased Samsung devices, also reports that the phone will come with 32GB of storage space.
This isn't the first time Samsung has released a giant version of its flagship phone. Last year, the company unveiled a larger version of the Galaxy S5 known as the Galaxy S5 Plus.
