The first photos of the iPhone 6s just leaked

Apple is probably still months away from unveiling its next iPhone, but a set of newly leaked photos gives us an idea of what it could look like.

Mark Gurman of 9to5Mac just published a series of photos that reportedly shows the iPhone 6s' metal casing from every angle.

It looks a lot like the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus on the outside. Here's what appears to be the back of the phone.

The big changes in terms of design will be internal, according to Gurman. The mounting points inside the phone were Apple will place the iPhone 6s' logic board is different than that of the current model.

It also seems as if the iPhone 6s won't have a dual-lens camera as many had speculated after Apple acquired LinX. Gurman's photo shows that the camera cutouts look identical to that of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

Here's a view of the bottom of the phone, which shows that the speaker grills and ports are exactly the same.

We'll probably know more about exactly what Apple has in store for the iPhone 6s in September, which is when the company usually introduces its new iPhones. The biggest new feature is expected to be the addition of a Force Touch screen, which means your iPhone will be able to tell how hard you're pressing on the screen in addition to detecting where you're tapping and swiping, just like the Apple Watch.

It's also worth noting that Gurman has a really strong track record when it comes to reporting information about unreleased Apple products. He recently nailed almost every detail about Apple Music and iOS 9, and before that he leaked tons of valid details about the iPhone 6.
