Google wants to help you pick the best Halloween costume this year - and make sure no one else at the party is also wearing it

The site uses data from Google Trends to show which costumes are trending locally and nationally on Google search. It's an amazing way to check if your brilliant costume idea has already been thought of by a million other people in the country - who may or may not be at the same Halloween party as you.
A hint from Google: everyone is going to dress as Batman nemesis Harley Quinn.
One of the most interesting features on Google Frightgeist is the difference in what's trending in different cities. Washington D.C. favors Batman, while San Francisco loves Star Wars in general, and Presque Isle, Maine, is obsessed with clowns.
