Amid global slowdown and weakening conviction among investors, India is expected to outperform emerging markets in 2016.
As per a survey by Morgan Stanley, 52% of the respondents in the survey said they expected India to outperform emerging markets in 2016 and 85% had done so in the previous survey in 2015.
Although many investors have withdrawn assets from India, many major foreign investors still seeIndian economy as a bright spot.
Reportedly, foreign investors have raked in nearly Rs 13,000 crore into Indian equities after withdrawing nearly Rs 26,200 crore in the first two months of the year.
