Sometime back we got a demo of the WoNoBo web interface that enables users to explore the Indian streets in a complete 3D environment. Genesys International Corporation has launched the WoNoBo mobile app now, which can be downloaded from the Android Play store.
Like the web interface, the WoNoBo mobile app works in a similar fashion. You can browse through 14 cities at the street level with a complete 360 degree panoramic view. Genesys will soon add 40 more cities to this apps arsenal covering 70 percent of the urban Indian streets.
Besides exploring the pathways, one can also share places and points of interests with friends from the apps interface. Inside view of some of the famous monuments such as the Taj Mahal and Elephanta Caves can also be accessed via the Android app. WoNoBo seems like a good alternative to GoogleStreet view .
