Two of the alleged sexual assaults took place at off-campus UC Berkeley fraternities and the third may also have been at a fraternity house, Berkeley police told The Daily Cal. The three reports are not believed to be related.
Last Thursday, a UC Berkeley student was arrested in response to one of the previous weekend's sexual assault reports "on suspicion of raping a woman who could not resist due to intoxication," The Daily Cal reports. The student is a brother of the school's Delta Upsilon fraternity chapter.
UC Berkeley recently released Clery Act data showing 33 cases of forcible sexual assault reported to campus officials or local police last year, according to The Daily Cal.
