Tom Brady's suspension is going to be all-or-nothing after he failed to reach a deal with the NFL

The latest installment of the Tom Brady Deflategate saga may be nearing an end.
Brady, Roger Goodell, and a legion of lawyers met for a settlement hearing in New York that lasted a whopping four minutes, according to Andrew Siciliano of the NFL Network.
Once the judge determined that the two sides had not reached a settlement in the case, he announced that he will issue a decision on either Tuesday or Wednesday. At this point, it is all or nothing for both sides as the judge will either uphold the suspension or wipe it out completely.
No settlement in Brady-NFL. Judge Berman said ruling likely tomorrow or next day. All or nothing for everyone involved.

However, according to Michael McCann of Sports Illustrated, there is still time for a settlement to be reached. However, if no deal is struck in the next 24-48 hours, the next step would likely be "many months of appeals" regardless of which side wins.
If NFL has a better settlement offer to make to Tom Brady, it should do so now. This is truly last call before many months of appeals begin.

The implication of such a short hearing suggests to McCann that the judge has already made up his mind on the case and is giving the two sides one last window to reach a settlement.
McCann added that Brady could still play during the appeals if the suspension is upheld, noting that the Patriots quarterback could petition for a stay of the suspension.
