He added that the company hired 145 students with a 58% diversity ratio in 2015. The company headquartered in London provided jobs to 78 and 114 trainees in 2013 and 2014 respectively across campuses in the country.
The company also offered more pre-placement offers or PPOs this year. It offered PPOs to 57% interns who did their summer internship with them this year compared to 37% PPOs in 2014.

According to Ramchandran, the firm’s programme ‘Discover’ is a long term business investment for it and enables trainees to work across functions, undergo customised training modules and provides an exposure to Vodafone's growth and career opportunities.

Ramchandran said the company places a substantially large weightage on performance and potential of current and past ‘Discover’ batches from the respective campuses before revisiting them.
