It will be not functional in India from October 31, 2020.

After Brazil and Middle East, ByteDance has decided to shut down its video blogging app Vigo Video in India.

In a statement released on Vigo Video’s blog, it said, “Moving forward we have decided to focus energy and resources on other businesses. Until October 31, users and creators are being given time to manage the transition.”

Users on Vigo Video will be informed about the app shutting via in-app notifications with detailed instruction on downloading their personal data or deleting their account permanently, including videos, personal information, chat history and favorite list.

Meanwhile, users can export their content onto TikTok.
