The industry also hires from outside the US. Insider analyzed US Department of Labor's Office of Foreign Labor Certification data from 2019-2021 to see what six big companies - Amobee, Magnite, MediaMath, Roku, The Trade Desk, and Xandr - paid employees.
The data pertains to foreign workers applying for both permanent green card visas and temporary H-1B, H1B1, and E-3 visas and does not include compensation beyond base salary.
The listed salaries are determined by "prevailing wages," or industry standards for similar jobs with similar qualification. Final salaries are, in most cases, considerably higher than prevailing wages.
