Apple’s iPhone SE will be available in India from April 8 at Rs 39,000

You will be able to grab Apple’s new iPhone SE in India from April 08 and pre-orders for the same will begin on March 29.

The iPhone SE will be sold at a starting price of Rs 39,000 for 16 GB and Apple is yet to disclose the price for 64GB variant.

The India price is relatively higher than $399 starting price offered to US customers.

Meanwhile, experts suggest that the 4-inch iPhone SE will not impress the Indians much as they prefer larger screens and may not shell out this much money for a smaller phone.

Only 10 percent of smartphones sold in India at the end of December had a four-inch screen, according to Counterpoint, and Apple accounted for only two percent of overall smartphone shipments in India last year.
