COVID-19: MP govt constitutes committee to revive industries

Bhopal, May 5 () The Madhya Pradesh government hasconstituted a committee of industrialists to attractinvestments and revive industries from the impact of theCOVID-19 outbreak in the state, an official said on Tuesday.

The industrial policy and investment promotiondepartment has constituted a committee, which will advise thestate government about ways to attract investments in theaftermath of the pandemic, an official from the publicrelations department said.

The principal secretary of the department will beconvenor of the committee, while the principal secretary ofmicro small and medium enterprises (MSME) department will beco-convenor, he said.

As many as 12 industrialists including Trident'sRajendra Gupta, HEG Ltd's Ravi Jhunjhunwala, Bridgestones'sMichihiro Suzuki and Netlink's Anurag Shrivastava are in thecommittee, he added. ADU MASARU ARU
