The suspect accused of attacking Paul Pelosi in October later admitted that he also planned to target famous figures including superstar actor Tom Hanks and Hunter Biden, police alleged in court on Wednesday.

San Francisco Police Department Lt. Carla Hurley testified during a preliminary hearing at the San Francisco County Superior Court that during an interrogation of David DePape, the 42-year-old revealed that he planned to target several other individuals, according to local station KTLA.

Among the targets were Hollywood icon Tom Hanks, President Joe Biden's son, Hunter, and California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Hurley testified, according to the report, adding that DePape wanted to discuss "all the corruption" in Washington, DC with President Joe Biden's son.

Republicans have frequently criticized Hunter Biden and have vowed to use their new power in the House of Representatives to investigate the president's son.

DePape was charged with felony counts of assault and kidnapping related to the October 28 attack at Nancy Pelosi's San Francisco home.

Though he was looking for the House speaker, who was not home, DePape ended up in a fight with Pelosi's husband, Paul, whom DePape hit in the head with a hammer — sending him to the hospital for emergency surgery.

Paul Pelosi has since been released from the hospital.
