People going to offices from Delhi to Noida faced bumper-to-bumper traffic as final preparations for Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s Art of Living event, at banks of River Yamuna, led to traffic jam.

The matter is going to get worse in the evening when the World Culture Festival will kickstart and so will the 20, 000 weddings in the city.

The police have issued advisory and asked people to avoid major roads, including the Ring Road stretch in south Delhi, the highway, the Noida Link Road, areas near the Akshardham temple and Mayur Vihar in east Delhi.

People have also been advised to take public transport and avoid going out between 12 noon and 11 pm.
