Buying a car can be as daunting as it can be joyful! The happiness of owning a car matches few other achievements in one’s life, and which is why it is imperative that one chooses a car with utmost finesse.
There are a lot of factors involved while buying a car, though the chief distinguishing quality almost invariably ends up being the matter of space. The spacious the car is, the better.

The new
What takes a car a notch above the rest is it’s technology and the Maruti Ertiga will surely not disappoint a customer on that front.
Firstly, Maruti Ertiga can be classified as a mild hybrid car, having the SHVS technology.

This technology comes with added benefits- for instance, if you’re stuck in a traffic signal and you release your foot from the clutch while the car is in neutral, the car automatically shuts off the engine, going in power-saving mode. Additionally, the Engine-A-Stop function ensures that when you restart your car, it’s all very silent. That’s not all. The technology also allows Energy Recuperation in which when the car goes in deceleration, it leads to the ISG unit rotating due to its momentum, which in turn charges the car battery simultaneously and this free energy is then captured and stored in battery.
There’s also a Gear Shift Indicator and a Power Assist function, in which whenever the vehicle is accelerating, the ISG will take the current stored in the battery and it will assist the engine by providing power. Thus consuming less fuel which otherwise would have been the case.
To make your experience in the car all the more entertaining, there exists a Smart Play Infotainment System which not only has a display with touchscreen but also has Bluetooth connectivity, voice command, navigation system and reverse parking camera display. No doubt this is rightly being called as Life Utility Vehicle or as thousands of happy owners are calling it – LUV.
