NEIL DUTTA: Labor force participation is 'not getting a lot of respect right now'

Neil Dutta, the head of US economics at Renaissance Macro Research, spoke to Business Insider executive editor Sara Silverstein about wage growth, which he says is rising gradually. He notes that most of the expansion right now is within women, and that men will eventually step up and help it further. Dutta says that while improving labor force participation is one of the most bullish things going on in the US economy, it's not getting a lot of respect right now.
