Samsung delays sale of Galaxy Note 7 in India after smartphones catch fire

Korean tech giant, The company said it acknowledges the inconvenience this could cause in the market, but said the move is aimed at ensuring that “Samsung continues to deliver the highest quality products to our customers”. The company will be looking at replacing the devices sold but it could take a couple of weeks.
In India, pre-orders for Galaxy Note 7 had been closed in August but as of now the customers are getting an apology for inconvenience from Samsung, “Thank you for pre-booking Galaxy Note7. We regret to inform that delivery of your Galaxy Note 7 is being delayed. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. You can be assured that we are working hard to deliver your Galaxy Note7 to you as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding.”
