If you are wondering why you would need to send a message to yourself, this is a good option if you want to save a message or media to look at in the future. This allows you to save important messages and media in the app quickly.

WhatsApp’s competitor, Telegram has had this feature for a long time now in the form of “Saved Messages”. This allows users to send whatever they want, including text, images and videos, to this chat, allowing them to view it later.

WhatsApp is also working on adding surveys to the app. However, this is expected to be a limited feature and will only be used by the company to take feedback about the app from users.

As part of this, users will receive a chat request from “WhatsApp Surveys”, a business account. Users will have the option to participate or decline the request.

WhatsApp is expected to use this to take feedback about new features, updates and more.

Bug Reports

WhatsApp is also working on a new feature that will allow users to easily submit bug reports when they face an issue on the app. Users can submit text and supporting images while reporting a bug.
