As the country indulges in an orgy of festivities this The bookmarks will be gifted in packed biodegradable envelopes. Roadrunnr’s delivery boys will hand-over one biodegradable envelope with every order they deliver across Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai. Customers can use these bookmarks and plant it in a pot as per the instructions on the envelope. In around 10 days they can look forward to a small plant blooming. A variety of seeds will be used so every customer will be surprised with a unique plant!
Viral Chhajer, Head of Marketing & Communications, Roadrunnr, says, “We are excited to launch this green initiative for Diwali and we will plant five trees for every bookmark planted by a customer. Roadrunnr team looks forward to planting more than 50,000 trees through this initiative.”
Roadrunnr will also gift merchants it works with bamboo plants in customized pots. This initiative is in association with ‘Nurturing Green’ and aims to promoting the green concept of gifting, decor and landscaping this festive season.
