A new company is aiming to take the hassles out of buying clothing online by making it easier than ever to return unwanted clothes.

Try.com allows users to try on clothes from several major retailers, including Zara, J. Crew, and Bloomingdale's, for free.

Customers only have to pay for the items if they decide to keep them.

The service sends up to five items at a time for free, though users can pay an additional $49 to try on another five.

Customers then have up to 10 days to decide which items they'd like to keep and purchase. Should shoppers not wish to purchase any items, they don't have to deal with the frustration of credit card charges.

Try.com allows shoppers to try on clothes from more than a dozen of top retailers, including Aldo, Barneys New York, Bloomingdale's, J. Crew, Neiman Marcus, Net-a-Porter, ShopBop, Zara, Urban Outfitters, and Topshop.

The company has also partnered with Amazon's men's store, East Dane.

The service, which functions as a button on Chrome's web browser, is currently only available for desktop computers. The service is also only available via invite, although those who desire to use it can simply request an invite.

What Try.com looks like.

The business will likely draw comparisons to StitchFix, a shopping facilitating service which allows users to fill out a style profile before receiving a box of clothes. Shoppers only have to purchase the items they wish to keep, and they can send the rest back. Unlike StitchFix, Try.com lets shoppers - not stylists - pick their clothes.

However, while online shopping has continued to get easier for consumers, it remains a nightmare for retailers, who often face steep additional charges for necessities such as shipping, according to The Wall Street Journal.
