It's been an exciting quarter for Facebook.
The company changed the way it charges advertisers, allowing them to choose to pay only when a user actually clicks a link to their brand's website or app.
It also introduced a new video ad buying format and a revenue-sharing experiment that puts it in closer competition with Google's YouTube. Last quarter, Facebook reported that people viewed its videos more than 4 billion times per day, and analysts and investors will be hungry for any update on Facebook's video business.
Facebook also announced plans to open up all of its ad targeting tools to Instagram, which is important since many see the photo-sharing service as a major source of future revenue.
