The is the OnePlus 3. It looks absolutely gorgeous.
For the first time, a OnePlus phone is all metal, which looks and feels positively solid and premium.
And it's incredibly thin, too — just a hair thicker than the iPhone 6s at 7.3mm. You'll notice that OnePlus' signature notifications switch is still there. The only other phone to have a physical switch to silence your notifications is Apple's iPhone.
It has a large 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display.
OnePlus cofounder Carl Pei says he doesn't want to use higher resolution screens for now as they take up too much battery.

Here's a photo taken with the OnePlus 3. This shot was taken with HDR on auto enabled. We're pretty impressed by the results.
OnePlus went to town with the detail on the OnePlus 3, adding chamfered edges around the ports and speaker holes.
The sharp edges gives the OnePlus 3 a supremely classy look, too. The edges look sharp but also incredibly refined — and most importantly, they don't make the OnePlus 3 uncomfortable to hold at all.
It runs Android 6.0 and OnePlus's own Oxygen OS skin, which looks identical to stock Android. The only storage option will be a 64GB model with a crazy 6GB of RAM, which is great for stuff like multitasking. It runs on the latest Snapdragon 820 processor for super fast performance.

It also lets you choose whether you want the app drawer and back buttons to be on-screen; you can also choose to use the touch buttons on the bottom bezels of the phone.
And you can set some pretty useful gestures to use certain features, like drawing a circle on the screen to open the camera app.
There's also a feature that will fully close an app when you press the little broom icon in the bottom center of the screen. Usually, apps don't close entirely when you swipe them away in the app drawer.
As expected, the OnePlus 3 has a fingerprint scanner, but we haven't fully tested it yet to see how well it performs.

The charger uses OnePlus' "Dash" technology, which gives you a day's worth of power in 30 minutes. It streams power to the phone at a constant rate and prevents it from heating up.
Other fast chargers reduce the charge rate when the screen is on, and they can get hot, too.
OnePlus is also offering a range of super-slim snap-on cases that go for $25, and they all look fantastic. Here's the Black Apricot.

And of course, there's the Sandstone case, which is OnePlus' signature texture that features on the very first OnePlus One smartphone.
Here's what it looks like from the front with a case. This is the OnePlus 3 with the Bamboo case.
This is by far the prettiest OnePlus phone we've seen yet, and our initial impression is that it's a great Android phone even before considering it's comparatively low $400 price tag.
We'll have more to say after using the OnePlus 3 for a little longer, and you can read about it in our review when it comes out.
