The Democratic presidential nominee published the first episode of "With her" on Friday. The podcast will run through Election Day, following along on Clinton's campaign trail.
"I've always wanted to know what it was really like to run for president. Turns out Hillary Clinton's campaign wanted to tell that story to," said Max Linsky, Clinton's co-host, in the episode.
Linsky, who is a major Clinton supporter, is also the co-founder of Pineapple Street Media, a small podcasting company. Linsky started the company with co-founder Jenna Weiss-Berman, who is largely known for building up the podcast arm of Buzzfeed. She worked with Clinton on an episode of their "Another Round" podcast. This perhaps helped to secure the nominee as co-host of Pineapple's first ever podcast.
But why podcasting? According to the Pew Research Center, podcasting is a growing form of media. Though only about 21% of Americans listen to podcasts, they are often dedicated listeners.
