The last few months have been difficult for people across the world. Over the last few weeks, heartbreaking stories of hapless migrant workers struggling to reach home, people barely trying to make ends meet due to the shutdown have become regular, everyday news. And to make matters worse, last week, West Bengal and Odisha were hit by a massive cyclone, Amphan.

The cyclone wreaked havoc across the two states, killing hundreds and damaging houses and farms. The cyclone led to a huge loss of both wealth and livelihood.

While the government has announced some relief packages for people affected by the cyclone, there’s a lot that needs to be done. Keeping this in mind, the IAA India Chapter got together with Havas Group India, to create a campaign and call for people to help West Bengal and Odisha, to help and rehabilitate those affected.

While Ramesh Narayan, Area Director APAC, IAA shared creatives for the campaign, the agency has now come up with a video to make its point heard, and to ask for people’s support. We spoke to Rana Barua, Havas Group CEO and Bobby Pawar, Chairman and CCO, Havas Group India who told us how the entire thing was put together and why the campaign was the need of the hour.
