In comparison, India’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani has a wealth of $96 billion – less than what Musk lost this year. Ambani’s company, Reliance Industries, has performed better, though, adding over 9% to its value in 2022.

At his peak, Elon Musk’s total wealth crossed $300 billion in January this year. However, since then, the Tesla founder has seen billions wiped out every day, knocking him down to a little over $200 billion.
