Flipkart cofounder backed Roposo bags $15 million in second round fund raising

Social ecommerce platform Roposo has found a breather in investing firm Tiger Global. Three months after a Series A investment of $1 million, Tiger Global has once again invested $15 million in Roposo, which comes as Series B investment.Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal backed social commerce platform has raised a funding of $21 million, which includes a seed round of $ 1 million.
Founded in 2012 as a part of their gift recommendation platform Giveter, by IIT Delhi alumni Mayank Bhangadia, Avinash Saxena and Kaushal Shubhank, Roposo has evolved into a social network for discovering online fashion brands. It currently works with 300 webstores and 4000 brands, including offline labels such as Vero Moda, Biba and Only.
The platform recently reinvented its app and website with greater focus on content and brand stories to launch new collections and has signed on celebrity designers and actors to promote the platform.
The platform currently works on the affiliate model for the brands and webstores.
