The winners of the Landscape Photographer of the Year Awards will make you want to travel Britain
Mark Gilligan
The Landscape Photographer of the Year Awards, held by Take a View in association with VisitBritain, recognise the best images of the UK's countryside each year. Last month, the £10,000 prize was awarded for the tenth time.
While the Awards recognise talent in photography, they are also guaranteed to inspire you to explore the countryside and plan a trip across Britain.
The winning entries will be on display on the balcony of London's Waterloo Station from November 21 until February 5th, and have also been published in the book 'Landscape Photographer of the Year: Collection 10."
From overhead views to highlands and rainbows, see the winner of the award along with some of the most highly commended images of the UK's stunning landscapes in 2016 below.
