These are the 13 best paying companies in the UK
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the companies where pay is highest are concentrated in three key sectors: technology, finance, and consulting, with all the top entries being from these fields.
While that isn't surprising, some of the companies to miss out are interesting. Not only do the likes of JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs miss out, but there is also not a single UK bank on the list.
In a statement alongside the data, Glassdoor's chief economist Dr. Andrew Chamberlain said: "Tech salaries in particular tend to be high because of a shortage in specialist skills such as software development and programming, with a bidding war for these workers now underway."
Glassdoor ranked the best paying companies using median earnings data, including basic salaries, along with any bonuses paid to employees.
