Writer compiles epic 71-tweet thread of people talking about Trump as if he were a toddler

At least that's the perspective of Daniel Drezner, a contributor to the paper's PostEverything section, who in April tweeted about the administration's unusual way of handling Trump, and has followed up with dozens more examples.
"It started, as all 2017 stories about American politics start, with a garden-variety snarky tweet," Drezner wrote about his original tweet:
Drezner said he wanted to push back on the narrative that Trump was "growing into the presidency," a take shared by mainstream news commentators such as CNN's Fareed Zakaria and Van Jones at various points of Trump's tenure.
However, as more and more examples popped up in the media of what Drezner viewed as the childlike way in which people talk about Trump's behavior, he decided to tack them on to his original tweet, which eventually snowballed into the 71-tweet behemoth of a thread it is today.
Some examples are brutal: In one New York Times article from May, White House aides said then-Chief of Staff Reince Priebus "has reduced the pace of public events and, like a Montessori teacher, modulates structured work time with the slack periods Mr. Trump craves."
Another example from a Reuters article in May describes the president as having a short attention span and needing his memos to fit on one page and preferring them with "maps, charts, graphs, and photos."
In order to make the cut, Drezner said the example has to come from a major news outlet and must be sourced to a Trump ally, not a Democrat or media pundit.
Here are some of Drezner's best tweets:
