Apple is hosting an event March 9, likely for the Apple Watch
Apple is hosting a media event on March 9 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco.
This event will likely go over the final features, pricing, and other details for the Apple Watch, which will launch in April. (We don't have a specific launch date yet.)
How do we know this will be about the Apple Watch? Besides the "Spring Forward" pun in the invitation (see below), Apple still needs to go over a lot of details about how the device will work.
When Apple first introduced the Apple Watch last September, it only gave us a high-level look at what it'll be able to do. We still don't know specifics like battery life, pricing for the high-end models, and how you'll control the watch with your iPhone.
Here's the invitation sent to the press:

Business Insider will be at the event covering the news live as it happens. The fun starts March 9 at 1 p.m. Eastern/10 a.m. Pacific.
