It looks like Apple has listened to these complaints, and will be putting a bigger battery in the second-generation Apple Watch.
According to Apple Insider, the company is working with LG and Samsung to add thinner displays to the next Apple Watch, meaning that it will be able to fit a larger battery in without increasing the size or changing the design of the watch.
According to the report, the next model will also have better outdoor visibility that the original Apple Watch.
More rumours about the so-called "Apple Watch 2" leaked last month. The next model could have a Facetime camera for video calls, and might even work without being near your iPhone. These previous reports also claimed Apple wasn't planning to make any improvements to the Apple Watch's battery life, but according to the rumours going round suppliers in South Korea, the company seems to have changed its mind.
Its not entirely clear when Apple is planning to launch the second Apple Watch. It is moving ahead with plans for the device's first software update, watchOS2, which will let app developers release native versions that will run off the Apple Watch itself, rather than from a paired iPhone via Bluetooth.
There are a number of other big changes in the next version of the operating system, like;new watch faces, a "Time Travel" mode that lets you visually go back or forward in time to see things like past events or the weather forecast, and a "Nightstand" mode for charging the Watch while you sleep.
