Apple is coming to Brooklyn.
The new Apple Store, the first in the borough, is opening this Saturday, July 30 in Williamsburg, the once hip but now fully gentrified neighborhood just across the river from Manhattan.
Williamsburg used to be mostly warehouses and low-income housing, but it has turned into a sort of mini Manhattan over the last 10 years or so thanks to an influx of millennials and young professionals flooding in from pricier neighborhoods. (There's even a new Whole Foods and Equinox gym on the same block as the new Apple Store.)
Apple gave Tech Insider an early preview at the new Apple Store ahead of the grand opening. Take a look:
