Christine Mi's blend of quirky captioned photos of things she spots in real life as well as her amazingly intricate drawings make her a Snapchat star. Mi studies economics and doesn't have a background in art or art history. She says her intricate, incredible Snaps take between 20 and 40 minutes each to craft, depending on how complex each is. Oh, and she says she'll probably snap you back if you send her something, so you can interact with the artist herself.
Jerome Jarre

You might recognize Jerome Jarre's name — he made a name for himself on Vine in 2013, gaining 7 million followers before migrating over to Snapchat to test the waters there. With a million and a half Snapchat followers, it's no surprise that when Jarre showed up outside of Snapchat's offices in July 2014 and tweeted "Hey Snapchat, I am outside your office. Let me in if you see this," the hashtag #JeromeInsideSnapchat became the #1 trending topic in both the US and UK (not only did Snapchat let him inside, but Jarre, who is originally from France, got to take a Snap with Evan Spiegel).

Geeohsnap is the pseudonym of a Norwegian Snapchat artist whose work went viral in 2014. Geeohsnap's "Random People Project" involved the artist snapping pictures of people he walked by on the street and giving them their own creative stories using Snapchat art. For instance, Geeohsnap will take a picture of an unsuspecting person and draw an elaborate environment around them — a pirate ship or a soccer game, for example. Casey Neistat first got his feet wet with producing viral content more than a decade ago. Neistat made a three-minute film called "iPod's Dirty Secret," which criticized the company's policies surrounding iPod battery replacements. After his film got national media coverage, Neistat was back in the news for co-creating a TV series called The Neistat Brothers, which HBO bought. He made even more of a name for himself on YouTube before moving over to Snapchat, where he's well-liked for his well-thought out stories, which involve him taking his followers on a journey through a day in his life.

Canadian Chris Carmichael was a serial entrepreneur, staring four companies before discovering the power of Snapchat as a social media platform. His best Snapchat friends are Jerome Jarre and Shaun McBride, and you can usually find them in each other's stories, doing goofy stunts or just narrating a day in their lives. Carmichael recently launched something called Crater, which is a crowdfunding platform specifically for Internet influencers like himself.

Dasha Battelle is a New York-based, self-proclaimed "Snapchat Artist/Enthusiast" who makes each of her intricate, artistic Snaps by hand — literally. Unlike a lot of Snapchat artists who use a stylus tool to fine-tune their art, Battelle says hers are done entirely wth a finger on the screen of her phone. She's putting her talents to good use as a product assistant at Mashable's visual storytelling team.
Cyrene Quiamco

Cyrene Quiamco is a graphic designer for Verizon Wireless and a freelance graphic designer, both jobs that lend themselves well to her Snapchat artistry. Quiamco takes selfies and turns them into extraordinary works of art. She's also a big believer in the Snapchat community, and she started a website called The11thSecond.com to serve as a place to promote and showcase the work of different Snapchat users.
Evan Garber
