On Tuesday, Kjellberg shared a video entitled "Lets Talk About Money," on his YouTube channel, The Verge reported.
The video comes after many news outlets published stories centered on the reported millions of dollars the YouTuber makes each year through advertising and merchandise.
"The whole world cares more about money than I do myself," says the Swedish YouTube star who told Icon Magazine in October that he's "extremely tired" of discussing his income.
Since joining YouTube in 2010, Kjellberg has gained a massive following of over 37 million subscribers and billions of video views.
"I have 9 billion views, that translates to something," Kjellberg explains of the reported $7.4 million.

In the video, Kjellberg speaks candidly about his YouTube career success. He explains his somewhat humble beginnings, including struggling with student loans (he eventually dropped out of college) and working at a hot dog stand.
Kjellberg addresses several negative Facebook posts directed towards him, including comments that he's not entertaining and doesn't actually do anything to earn a living.
"If you think someone else is funnier, go refresh their videos, that's how we get paid," the YouTuber says.
Initially, Kjellberg says he didn't know he could even make money as a YouTuber. Instead, making gaming videos was a passion project that has "exploded," he explains. He also mentions his efforts to give back, including raising a million dollars for charity.
As for the people who still think all PewDiePie does is "yell at the screen," Kjellberg says he isn't concerned.
"Haters gonna hate, right?" he says.
