Twitter sees a 31% year-on-year jump in ad revenue in Q4 to $1.15 billion

Twitter posts strong Q4 results
  • Twitter’s advertising revenue for the fourth quarter jumped to $1.15.
  • Twitter had 192 million daily users, on average, in the third quarter, up 27% year-over-year.

Twitter in its quarterly results declared its advertising revenue totaled $1.15 billion in Q4, up 31% year over year or 30% on a constant currency basis.

Its total revenue in the quarter stood at $1.29 billion, an increase of 28% year over year or 27% on a constant currency basis.

For the quarter, its total ad engagements increased 35% year-on-year and cost per engagement (CPE) saw a 3% decrease.

Twitter’s US revenue totaled $733 million, an increase of 24% and its international revenue totaled $556 million, an increase of 34% year over year or 32% on a constant currency basis.
